The RFK Training Institute (RFK TI) announces the call for applications for the IV Training Course on the Inter-American Human Rights Protection System for State agents. The training is co-organized by the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR), American University Washington College of Law (AU WCL), the Inter American Institute for Human Rights (IIDH) and the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights (RFK Center) and is part of the activities of the RFK TI around the world. The training will be conducted in parallel to the 151st session of the Inter-American Commission in Washington DC, from July 14 to 18, 2014.
The Training Course on the Inter-American Human Rights Protection Systemaims to provide government agents with hands on experience in the inter-american human rights protection system. The training provides participants with integral and practical training regarding functions and operations of the Inter-American Commission and Court. It also provides strategies and best practices for implementation of human rights standards at the local level.
